Friday we were honored to photographed Jim as part of our Veterans Project. In Vietnam Jim had the job of listening to and translating intercepted radio communications. After basic training at Ft. Jackson in Columbia, South Carolina he learned Vietnamese in Monterey California. Jim was such a joy to photograph and talk to. You immediately felt like you had known him for years.
