National Honors

For the last six years we have been honored to have been invited to Summit with the top school and sports photographers in the country. This year the conference was held in Panama City Beach, Florida. Summit is a conference for a select group of photographers who are at the top of our industry and are invited to attend each year. The event that started 18 years ago with a small group of five or six like-minded school photographers has turned into one of the industry's leading communities for independent, volume professional photographers. This year, 27 studios were represented from across the United States.

Summit days are spent in meetings and small group breakout sessions covering different subjects that we deal with in the photography world. All of the nights but one we were free to explore and spend time together with other photographers and business owners. We have made some great friends over the years attending Summit. For a group that gets together only once a year, there are very close friendships formed. And we always find great places to eat wherever we go! On the second night we had a dinner and awards ceremony. Last year at this ceremony we were so surprised to receive the Sustainable Growth Award. But guess what?! As the award ceremony continued this year, and we were talking with friends, we heard Bentley Photography called for the Top Sales award! We were those people who stumbled to the podium to accept the award because we were in shock when we heard our names called. We are so grateful for this honor and even more thankful for our amazing staff who help us keep our high standard of customer service for all of our customers. Also, a big thank you to our schools, families, and sports teams who trust us every season to capture these memories for them—thank you for being part of our journey!
